Small law firm seeking a part-time filing clerk who is organized and efficient. The candidate will be expected to maintain physical files for 50 cases for busy insurance defense firm.
Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work well independently while also communicating with additional legal staff and attorneys. The position requires electronic contact with a remote managing partner.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Phone support
· Update files and make them easily accessible to co-workers
· Create and maintain new files, both physical and billing
· Store all paperwork in designated places securing important documents
· Office support including scanning, photocopying, document deliveries, and mail
