Overview

Located on approximately 10 acres of land adjacent to Florida Hospital, Apopka Health and Rehabilitation Center is designed with a split floor plan to provide resident privacy. The 101,811 square foot center includes 36 private and the 72 semi-private well-appointed suites for a total of 180 beds. Enclosed exterior courtyards feature multiple access points and plenty of shaded areas to maximize resident comfort and relaxation. A large state-of-the-art therapy gym opens onto a courtyard featuring an occupational therapy track or mobility garden. Residents enjoy daily activities in addition to an on-site movie cinema.

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist, PRN

Apopka Health & Rehab is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of all individuals, carryout a progressive treatment program, record all pertinent information regarding the occupational therapy program, provide consultation to the nursing staff, and participate in utilization review to coordinate total patient plan of care. The ideal Occupational Therapist will share our vision to provide the very best in patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have a Minimum of Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and maintain a current licensein our state
• Must be registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc., as designated by the initials O.T.R.
• One full year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, is desired
• Ability to relate and motivate patients for productivity
• Able to cooperate with patients, families, peers, healthcare professionals, administrative personnel, students, and other staff
