Solaris HealthCare is hiring a Laundry Aide to join our team!
Laundry Aide Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in thelaundry room and storage area
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocolsto prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment
- Sort and process soiled linens and clothingaccording to established procedures
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and otherlaundry equipment to clean and sanitize linens and clothing
- Inspect clean linens and clothing for stains,tears, or other damage, and report any issues to the supervisor
- Fold, stack, and distribute clean linens andclothing to designated areas within the facility
- Assistwith inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying thesupervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Collaborate with other team members to ensuretimely completion of laundry tasks and support overall operations within thefacility
Laundry Aide requirementsÂ
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferredbut not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to followinstructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of ateam in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time managementskills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and moveheavy loads of laundry.
- Willingness to adhere to safety and infectioncontrol protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitudeand strong work ethic.
