ABOUT THE ROLE: The CNC Parametric Programmer will be responsible for developing and implementing CNC programs for the production of aluminum windows and doors. The individual in this role must have a strong understanding of parametric programming and experience with the CNC machines in a manufacturing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and implement CNC programs for aluminum window and door manufacturing using parametric programming techniques.

-Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure that programs are

optimized for production and meet design specifications.

-Troubleshoot and optimize existing CNC programs to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

-Maintain accurate records of program changes and updates.

-Conduct quality assurance test on programs to ensure that they meet

specifications and equipment machining capabilities.

-Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology related to CNC programming.

-Produce and distribute program batches for the fabrication team.

-Collaborate with production teams to ensure that CNC machines are used effectively and efficiently to meet production targets.

CANDIDATE

REQUIREMENTS - Minimum of 3 years’ experience CNC programming for aluminum window and door manufacturing

- Strong understanding of parametric programming techniques and their application in CNC programming

- Familiarity with CNC machines and their operation in the manufacturing industry.

- Proficient in the use of CAD/CAM software and programming languages such as G-code and M-code

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs.

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams

- Strong attention to detail quality assurance

- Strong information retention

- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly 50 lbs.

- Ability to follow written and oral instructions

- Ability to read a tape measure
