Responsible for the registering of patients by obtaining individual information without error and in a timely manner. The registrar will collect non-covered payments and/or deposits, insure compliance with insurance regulations and governmental rules and regulations.
Insures complete and accurate patient demographic information.
Insures all admission and financial forms are complete and accurate.
Maintains working knowledge of bed placement.
Performs other admission duties.
HS diploma or GED required.
Prefer previous hospital registration, business office or physician office experience. Data Entry exam.
