- You will administer, evaluate, monitor, or coordinate programs on the use, procurement, transfer, destruction or other disposal of excess govt assets.
- You will serve as an Accountable Property Officer, conduct and update inventories, maintain accurate reports, provide/complete trainings, and ensure compliance with all internal and external applicable regulations.
- You will perform duties in various govt and financial software systems i.e. Navy-ERP, DPAS, DLA/DRMO, DTS, GSA leasing, and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), related to budget, finance, and/or asset management as needed.
- You will interface with internal and external customers on a daily basis, ensure attention to detail in all communications as well as on programmatic and financial documentation.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
For The Gs-09Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advises on functions of formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; 2) Assists in formulation of reimbursable budget and cost estimates based upon historical data; 3) Establishes and maintains accountable property and financial records; and 4) Maintains monthly report records for audit purposes utilizing Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
