Lyneer Staffing Solutions is Hiring a CAD Designer Near Annapolis, MD
Lyneer Staffing Solutions is seeking a creative and skilled CAD Designer to join our client's team in Annapolis, MD. This entry-to-mid-level position primarily focuses on commercial projects, code-heavy design, and residential projects involving 3D layouts. You will ensure prints/drawings are provided to the production operators that are in accordance with company standards. Monday to Friday paying between $22.00 - $25.00 /hour
Your Day
- Ensure nests are provided and downloaded that can be readily used by the operator and optimize material usage to minimize drop.
- Uses computer assisted design(CAD) /drafting equipment and software to develop drawing for commercial and residential
- Create a Summit drawing from customer’s DXF, prints, DWG or any other form
- Must check and verify the computer generated print to the customer drawing to ensure that the company print is drawn correct and meets the Summit drawing standard.
- Utilizes knowledge of various production machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings
- Must maintain the drawing databases/files with all the new and up to date revisions
- Responsible for the quality of work as it pertains to the specific job requirements and relevant company procedures, instructions, and policies
About You
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have strong computer skills and in depth knowledge of CAD software and equipment
- Must have reading, writing and arithmetic skills to understand prints/drawings and create them with all the required measurements
- Practical experience in using and interpreting measurement tools including but not limited to tape measures, calipers, protractors and micrometers
- Must have strong communication skills and must work well in a team environment
- Must have ability to create 3D Models for residential customers/projects
Pay Rate/Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- $22.00 - $25.00/hour
