We are a painting contractor in Ann Arbor, MI also servicing parts of metro Detroit. Family-owned-and-operated by third-generation painters. We specialize in high-end residential painting and specialty coatings.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Surfaces for Paint by cleaning the surface and patching holes and cracks and sanding or scraping
• Masking windows, covering floors with paper, lights and other fixtures with plastic and tape
• Caulking Trim and Baseboards
• Moving paint and equipment between buildings and vehicles
• Pressure Washing Exterior Surfaces
• Painting, including brushing, rolling, spraying, etc.

Requirements

• Some experience in the trades preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry over 50 lbs without assistance.
• Comfortable working on a ladder, scaffold or aerial lift.
• Ability to work with limited supervision as well as a part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. We sometimes drive up to 1 hour to job sites.

Preferred

• Experience in exterior or interior painting.
• Drywall installation and repair experience

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Ann Arbor, MI: Relocate before starting work (Required)
