Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who understands the needs of young children and has a heart for their development. As a Child Development Center Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. In addition to contributing to the well-being of the children in our care, this position offers a unique benefit for mothers – a personal discount for your own children to attend our Christian preschool.

Responsibilities:

- Provide loving care and support to children ranging from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment where children can learn and play.

- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

- Foster a Christian atmosphere that promotes love, kindness, and understanding among children and staff.

- Maintain open and positive communication with parents and guardians.

- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the center.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- The ability to pass both a state and federal background check.

- A genuine love for young children and a passion for their growth and development.

- A nurturing and patient demeanor.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others as one team.

- A strong commitment to our Christian values and creating a supportive environment.

- Transportation to and from work.

- Experience working with young children is a plus but not required.
