Landscaper / Laborer / Groundskeeping Maintenance

- Pay $16-$19 depending on experience.
Do you have relevant outdoor labor/ landscape experience? Are you looking for a career with growth? Join our Solar Team! Candidate will work within the landscape division for the first 6 months- 1 year then will be trained on solar/electrical in order to become permanent Solar Technician 2 and join the Operations and Maintenance Team!
We are looking for professionals who can assist with various landscaping and vegetation maintenance around our Utility Solar Grounds.
This career path is a great steppingstone to grow with our company, by elevating your landscape maintenance experience (on a Utility Scale) or by growing into a Solar Technician role! We are always looking for promising candidates who want to further their career. If you are looking to become a solar technician/utility electrician this is a great starting point! We offer 100% of training from the ground up!
REQUIRED:
- -Valid Driver's License
- -Ability to pass a Background and Drug Screening
- -Local in Alabama (Covington County)
- -Has Reliable Transportation
Duties:
- Perform various landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming around Utility Solar Grounds
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Operate hand tools and power tools for groundskeeping and hardscape projects
- Operate: Lawn mowers, weed eater, 0-turn lawn mower and other equipment
- Assist with other groundskeeping maintenance
- Ability to perform other manual labor tasks as needed
-Electrically inclined or prior solar experience is a BONUS!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic horticulture practices and plant identification
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
