Medical Transportation Driver
THE WHAT
We are looking for a responsible, safety-oriented individual interested in driving their way to success with a company that operates in the business of serving others. As a Medical Transportation Driver, you will be providing non-emergent transport to patients who require special assistance in arriving at their destinations. This position is full-time and primarily serves older adults who reside in their own homes or in assisted living facilities throughout Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Our customers have a variety of health conditions and abilities, so prompt and compassionate service is required in order to provide the level of service they deserve and have come to expect with Triton.

Job Responsibilities - you knew they were coming!
- Determine or obtain best route
- Safely operate your assigned vehicle with patient needs in mind
- Operate a gurney safely and comfortably for each patient
- Be prompt and courteous with all interactions
- Clean and disinfect van and equipment after each patient
- Ensure van is organized and in good working order
- Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance
- Demonstrate timeliness, sincerity and patience when working with clients
- Accept other duties and activities as assigned
Skills and Qualifications - we know you have them!
- At least 1 year transportation experience preferred
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Attention to detail and ability to responsibly manage time
- Adjust to changing schedules with openness to flexibility
- Ability to work independently
- At least 18 years old with valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable automobile
- Proof of current automobile insurance
- Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
- Negative TB test
Physical Requirements - to uplift others!
Requires considerable physical effort most of the day including lifting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, exposure to temperature and humidity changes. Ability to lift/transfer items up to 50 pounds. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet essential duties of this position.
Working Environment - there will be snacks!
Travel to/from customer residences is required, with additional time in a warehouse setting.
