We are seeking multiple skilled Tool and Die Makers with expertise in TIG welding, strong mechanical abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.

This role involves manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining progressive dies, and supporting production through tooling repairs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform die maintenance using tool room equipment and hand tools.
• Conduct center drilling, reaming, lapping, tapping, countersinking, and counter boring.
• Machine parts to blueprint specifications.
• Fabricate and repair production dies.
• Replace die sections as needed.
• Make in-press tooling repairs.
• Document department data.
• Operate hi-lo and crane for die transportation.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Education & Experience :

• Journeyman status or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.

Skills :

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of machining, tool steel, metal fabrication, and machine repair.
• Ability to operate metrology instruments, grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses, optical comparator, and EDM machine.
• Competence in calculating speeds, feeds, and performing machine offsets.
• Adequate computer and math skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Licensure :

• Hi-lo and crane certification required.
• Journeyman status or accredited certificate required.
