Job Description *
Insight Global is seeking a Panel Technician to sit onsite up to 5 days a week in Alvarado, TX for an oil and gas services company. This role is a contract with the ability to convert to a permanent employee. The Panel Technician works independently or as part of a team to assemble and wire components for industrial control panels and cabinets according to blueprints and wiring diagrams. Working off engineered drawings and schematics/blueprints to build circuit and computer boards, computers, and other components. Soldering for boards, working with digital volt meters. Installation testing, making sure things are wired correctly on the board. Troubleshooting for boards and power distribution panels. Documenting new procedures and processes to mark down for future.
