Job Overview:
We are GROWING and seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audiology Assistant to join our team. As an Assistant, you will provide support to our Audiology department and ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Assist and manage walk-in patients, addressing their general hearing aid care needs.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, inventory, track repairs
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a comfortable environment
- Organize and maintain a neat physical appearance of your workspace
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Assist with prior authorization, insurance verification, and billing processes
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate care
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
