Title: Senior Business Analyst

Overview:

The Senior Business Analyst for Time and Attendance is an experienced IT professional who collaborates with HR and Payroll leaders to address business challenges. They use their expertise in processes, technology, and systems to identify requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. This role involves supporting daily operations and managing projects. The ideal candidate excels in communication and documentation, has experience with the UKG Dimensions solution, and can build strong relationships with both IT and business stakeholders.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Business Applications, the Senior Business Analyst handles various tasks, including analyzing, designing, and implementing system changes to support HR, Time and Attendance, and Payroll systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing effective support for Payroll and HR operations across all locations
• Collaborating closely with individuals at all organizational levels, from payroll clerks to HR VPs
• Identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing business and functional requirements
• Maintaining Time and Attendance and HRIS systems for accurate and timely employee compensation
• Acting as a UKG Dimensions expert, leading implementations, and troubleshooting issues
• Supporting integrations between systems like WorkForce Now and JD Edwards
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and goals
• Developing requirements documents and test cases, and assisting with training

The Senior Business Analyst for Time and Attendance should have the following skills:

• Expertise in UKG Dimensions, including Time Keeping, Scheduling, Accruals, Activities, and Attendance modules
• Experience with Dimensions analytics and BI tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and high accuracy
• Leadership in project management
• Understanding of PII security requirements and interface design
• Regular review of systems for efficiency improvements
• Prioritization and communication of business requirements to stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership and exceptional client service

Knowledge:

The Senior Business Analyst for Time and Attendance should be knowledgeable in:

• Process and systems analysis, particularly in HR/T&A/Payroll applications
• Understanding of HR/Payroll business processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in manufacturing and distribution is beneficial

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, with focus on HR/Payroll Systems
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR/Payroll-related activities
• Strong time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
