Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of an Appian Developer for a contract to hire position in Alpharetta, GA. The opportunity will be five months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- A Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business.
- Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implements new advanced technologies.
- Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions.
- Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
- Bachelor s degree in computer, Information Technology, or related field
- End to End Delivery (requirements through deployment) experience of large and /medium scale applications development for 10 years
- 5 Years of development experience with an object oriented programming language like Java or .NET
- 2 Years of development experience with Appian
- Appian Senior Developer (Level 2) certification or higher
- Knowledge of Appian application performance and optimization
- Technical knowledge of Appian security controls
- Experience of Agile delivery methodology and working knowledge of Jira/ Azure Devops or any other agile tool kits
- Lead Developer (Level 3) certification (or commensurate level of Appian experience)
- Experience of business process and data modeling using mainstream tools (Visio, Aris, etc.)
- Knowledge of application design patterns
