General Repair Technician Location : Allendale, NJ Hours : 4 : 00 AM 12 : 00 PM Monday-Friday Pay-rate : $20.00-$23.00 / hour (Depending on experience) Direct Hire Opportunity General Repair Technician Job Responsibilities : Perform repairs needed such as repairing trim, installing doors, repairing fences, patch drywall cracks, painting, etc.
Carry out carpentry work by fixing furniture. Schedule different phases of projects based on established deadlines and vendors.
Confer with supervisors or other managers to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes to mitigate risk.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.
General Repair Technician Job Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office Proven working experience in carpentry and general repair Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.
