Springfield Veterinary Center has an opportunity for a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician!
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus!!!
Location: 4416 Springfield Rd. Glen Allen, Virginia 23060
Compensation: $29 - $30
Shift Details: 4 or 5 day work week with one Saturday every 6 weeks.
Office Hours: 8-6 Monday - Friday
8-12 Saturday

Springfield Veterinary Center is a full-service veterinary facility established in July 2000. Our AAHA accredited hospital has high medical standards that we offer to our community. We are a reproductive clinic and do much work with all facets of Theriology. We are able to offer Penn Hip as well as OFA radiographs to our clients. We also have breed soundness exams, run progesterones, offer vaginal, transcervial and surgical inseminations. If you don't know much about the reproductive aspect of veterinary medicine, don't worry. We have Licensed Veterinary Technician's that have been on staff for over 20 years that can help teach you the ropes. All of our anesthetic and surgical patients are required to have thorough physical examinations on the day of their procedure as well as pre-operative bloodwork. Patients under general anesthesia receive IV fluids for maintenance of blood pressure and renal health. EKG, pulse oximetry, end-tidal CO2, and blood pressure are monitored on all anesthetized patients.BENEFITS:

Job Summary: The Licensed Veterinary Technician provides leadership and training to the medical support staff in the operation of a small animal facility in accordance with hospital policy and procedures and provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients and have great attention to detail and organizational abilities.
