Job Title: CAD Drafter

Job Summary:

Dahmes is looking for a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team out of our main office in New London, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate should have experience using computer-aided drafting software and have an understanding of basic engineering principles.

As a CAD Drafter, you will work closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure projects are progressing as planned. This is a full-time position, and the successful applicant will become an integral part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate drawings based on project specifications and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure design plans are complete and meet project requirements.
• Produce 2D and 3D drafts suitable for manufacturing or construction purposes.
• Maintain records of all technical drawing documents.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in CAD software to improve design productivity.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a two-year degree in a related field is required.
• Have experience using 2D DraftSight or AutoCAD.
• Have experience using 3D computer-assisted drafting software; Solidworks preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
