Northern New Mexico Independent Electrical Contractors Association is Hiring an Electrical Trades Instructor Near Albuquerque, NM

Job Overview:

Join NNMIEC to help train New Mexico's future electrical journeymen. The ideal candidate will have five years of electrical field experience and have his/her electrical journeyman's license.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain already established electrical curriculum for four years of electrical courses leading to journeyman's certification. Relate to and motivate apprentices at different levels of understanding.-
- Provide hands-on training to students to enhance their understanding of technical concepts.

Have good computer and office skills to prepare slides. enter and track quizzes, tests and grades electronically.

Qualifications:

- Prior electrical field experience
- Strong ability to educate and engage students effectively
- Proficiency in curriculum development is a plus

Pay: $25.95 - $32.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
