GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Director of Administrative & Facility Services, supervise college housekeeping staff. Perform a variety of routine cleaning functions and training.

Must have a valid NC Driver’s License.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience with environmental services

Preferred :

• Associate degree
• 10 years progressive experience with environmental services supervision

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Possession of a valid NC driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible schedule for college events and times of inclement weather.

OTHER DUTIES

• Supervise college environmental services staff and duties.
• Train college environmental services staff on best practices and product use safety.
• Maintain accurate material safety data sheets and pertinent records.
• Ensure the attached scope of work is regularly performed by all groups.
• Evaluate and monitor college environmental processes and procedures.
• Responsible for cleaning and supplying inventory and orders.
• Assign college staff to daily porter and cleaning duties.
• Serve on various college committees as required or assigned.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
