Requirements
  • These are the minimum qualifications necessary by law to be considered for this position. If you do not have the needed experience or equivalent experience required for this role, kindly consider applying for another position with us.
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited New York State registered college or university or one accredited by the NYS Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Master’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field; OR
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited New York State registered college or university or one accredited by the NYS Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of experience in writing, collection and distribution of news and related communication or in public or community relations;
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited New York State registered college or university or one accredited by the NYS Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Associate’s Degree and three (3) years of experience in writing, collection and distribution of news and related communication or in public or community relations;
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) through (C).
