Our clients include NYS Office of General Services, NYC Health Hospitals Corporation, State University of New York, Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, NYC Department of Design and Construction, NYC Parks & Recreation, NYC School Construction Authority, NYC Economic Development Corporation, Battery Park City Authority, and NYS Parks, Recreations and Historic Preservation.
SCOPE: Sr PM- program management of a varied portfolio of projects from an owner’s perspective including, project planning, tracking schedule performance, and project controls for monitoring of various building construction and renovation projects. Project involvement will begin in the initial planning stages through completion to assure that projects meet internal requirements, are within cost limitations, and are completed per schedule.
REQUIREMENTS: Eight years of experience in managing numerous projects including project planning, reviewing project schedules, project controls and reporting, resource management, and construction document reading and interpretation. A bachelor’s degree or professional certification in a related field may be substituted for up to four years of experience.
*This is an immediate long term on-site position.*
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend plans, specifications, addenda, bid materials, contracts and related construction documents
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam. Competency with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred
- Ability to lead and/or participate in team endeavors
- Demonstrated record of taking initiative
