Fixed Asset/Capitalization Analyst
Grade: Financial Analyst 3
Job Role/Description:
This role will manage capitalization of construction-in-progress (CIP) balance for US Operations/ QA organizations.
• Reconciliation of outstanding total CIP balance to general ledger by individual project.
• Working closely with business partners to determine methodology to capitalize CIP balance within each project into individual fixed assets.
• Completion of fixed asset capitalization form and submit to Corporate to process the asset capitalization.
• Preparation of bi-weekly project status reports to summarize progress of capitalization effort. Candidate Skill/Experience Requirements:
• Minimum bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 2-4 year relevant experience (fixed asset experience preferred)
• Advanced Excel Skills required.
• Good Communication skills to work with Finance and Operations leadership.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.
• Self-motivated person to be able to work independently.
