Role: System Validation Engineer
Location: Alameda, CA - 94502
Duration: 6 Months on W2
Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM
Skills Looking For
- We just developed a very complex system within our quality function and we will launch the validation soon after the new year; need a software validation engineer to work with other validation engineers on the team and help through this validation process.
- Verify everything that is developed matches the requirements.
- Have all necessary documentation work done that will be utilized when auditors come in for inspection and all the work done complies with the regulations.
- Deal with a system and complex analytical models; need a person to can quickly understand and analyze the built model and able to understand the purpose why it was built; understand its functionality. They will not build a
- Ability to translate the model into communication for other teams to understand; visualize it in workflow and able to explain it to the other teams.
- Strong communication skills required; work QA software to discuss the details and how to verify certain parts of the model.
- Know how to verify the system, compare the requirements and the final results of the system, and write reports and the results for the verification. Good technical writing skills are needed.
- Ability to run the protocol, review it, and document it.
- Scripting proficiency and scripting languages like Python and SQL for automation purposes.
- Proficient in Excel (Lookup’s, Lookup’s, pivot tables, charts, formulas).
- Must have common sense and understand logic, how to do the data manipulation; they have to Know data modeling, and why they're doing it.
- Must come from a regulated industry like medical devices or pharma.
- The tools that are being built here are the platform: data modeling or data engineering type of platform.
- Someone who has worked in systems like Emmy systems or POS systems implementation side will be a plus.
- It is a validation, but also at the same time it's not just the groundwork of doing the verification, it's also rising from the kind of details and can summarize it and communicate through documentation or a certain level of presentation to the other side of the software.
- Bachelor's degree required (electrical engineering, computer science or related field).
- 3 to 5 years of Software validation experience.
- Understanding the model
- Strong communication skills oral and written along with technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of verifying the system.
