Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires expertise in various construction techniques and the ability to work with power tools and heavy equipment. Responsibilities: - Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal studs, and other materials according to blueprints and specifications - Install floor joists, wall studs, roof trusses, and other framing components - Build walls, floors, and roofs using appropriate construction methods - Install windows, doors, and siding - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Requirements: - Proven experience as a Framer or in a similar role - Proficient in plastering, metal stud framing, stucco application, siding installation, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and heavy equipment operation - Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations - Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction drawings - Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina - Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions - Capable of lifting heavy materials and operating power tools safely Note: This position requires heavy lifting and the operation of heavy equipment.
