I work directly with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of impedance-controlled and optical connectivity solutions. We are currently looking to hire a Quality Engineer to the growing team.

Location: Akron, Pennsylvania

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000K base/yr. annual bonus

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including corrective actions and recalls.
• Facilitate problem-solving with Operations on quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and managing small project teams.
• Analyze quality issues to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and develop continuous improvement programs for production processes and quality management systems.
• Monitor customer feedback to identify quality concerns, generate reports for management, and liaise with customers to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, communicate quality management procedures, and train employees on quality processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• ISO 2015 and AS9100 certified, ASQ certification; CQE preferred
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Highly detail-oriented
• Strong team player with excellent collaborative skills
