Insight Global is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Aiken, SC

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Manager for one of our clients who is in fiber glass manufacturing industry. This role would require to be onsite Aiken, SC. The Quality Manager will be managing direct reports of 5-6.

As a Quality Manager, you will be ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes. In addition to collaborating with cross function teams to drive quality improvements, monitor production processes, implement quality assurance measures, and visit Customers.

Additional Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited:

Quality Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, track defects, and drive continuous improvement efforts

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate defects and enhance overall efficiency.

Training:

  • Provide training to employees on quality standards, processes, and procedures to foster a culture of quality awareness and compliance

Quality Audits:

  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and support external audits from regulatory agencies or customers.

Continuous Improvements:

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Six Sigma projects, and quality-related projects

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineer or Applied Sciences discipline
  • 5-7 years in quality engineering / assurance field
  • Background ISO9001 environment
  • Minimum of 2 years in applying SPC (statistical process control) techniques
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Plusses:

  • ASQ certification
  • Experience using Mint Table or Stack Graphics
