PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Position Summary:

This position oversees the production activities related to low-voltage and medium voltage electrical systems, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.

In This Role You Will:

· Supervise Production Operations: Direct and oversee the production activities related to low-voltage and medium voltage electrical systems, including planning, organizing, and coordinating daily manufacturing operations.

· Ensure Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety regulations and procedures, identifying and addressing any potential safety hazards or concerns.

· Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met, implementing measures to improve quality and efficiency as needed.

· Team Leadership: Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.

· Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to meet production targets and deadlines.

· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions and prevent recurrence.

· Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate production processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing efficiency-enhancing measures.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and documentation, generating reports on production activities, performance metrics, and quality control measures.

· Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components required for production, monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages.

Qualifications/Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

· Previous experience in a production supervisory role within the electrical industry, with specific experience in low-voltage and medium voltage systems preferred.

· Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage and medium voltage electrical systems and manufacturing processes.

· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.

· Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures applicable to electrical manufacturing environments.

· Proven problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Additional Skills:

· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for production management.

· Certification in production management or related field.

Work Environment: This position primarily operates in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to machinery, equipment, and electrical systems. The production supervisor may be required to work flexible hours and occasional weekends to accommodate production schedules and deadlines.
