Summary: Provide leadership, technical expertise and contribute to the total success of the company. Will be expected to bring creative thinking, dedication and leadership capabilities to ensure the effective function and management of the maintenance department. Will be integral to provide senior leadership with the solutions-based reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance.

• Direct and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems, as well as leadership within the facility’s continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work with team members to develop the most cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities to achieve factory maintenance budget.

• Establish departmental goals and objectives to maintain a low cost high efficient operation.

• Develop and implement innovative technical ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies to reduce operating cost.

• Complete planning and budgeting for maintenance activities including extraordinary maintenance as well as annual budget for labor, repair materials, and outside contractors.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors degree or Vocational school training; may be supplemented or replaced with relevant experience

• Willingness to become certified in all areas r the proper credentialing of this role
