We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities Of a Direct Support Professional
  • Assist and/or supervises in activities of daily living skills
  • Administer or assist with prescribed medication
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assist with transportation
  • Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
  • Data entry using Therap (EHR)
  • Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
Job Requirements
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
  • Strong communication skills
