Job Summary

About the Position: INTEL ELECTRONIC WARFARE & SENSORS DIR INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT DIV.
Job Description
  • Serves as a technical expert regarding software support for IEWS systems in one or more IT functions such as software development, software testing, and evaluation, quality assurance.
  • Serves as a technical expert regarding software support for IEWS systems in one or more IT functions such as information security, information technology, requirements/threat analysis, systems engineering, and systems integration.
  • Applies expertise in the design and implementation of new requirements and modifications to existing software as well as software reprogramming.
  • Performs project and/or contract management duties.
  • Applies system architecture principles to develop and manage technical requirements and achieve the appropriate balance among resources, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Prepares technical specifications, reports, and statements of work.
Qualifications

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02/GS-11). I have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled: 1) Attention to Detail

  • Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3) Oral Communication
  • Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4) Problem Solving
  • Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing and analyzing software design and programming; 2) Providing information technology troubleshooting, assistance and guidance to customers; and 3) Performing contract management duties such as preparing procurement documentation, evaluating proposals, approving acquisition requests, monitoring contractor performance, etc.
