Job Description:

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for supporting the Quality department identify, resolve and record nonconformances on the Assembly line, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Quality department. This position works Monday – Thursday, ten hours a day with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include:

· Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
· Identify, verify, and monitor critical operations within the assembly process as defined by Tollgate
· Identify non-conforming components and assemblies, based on QA Check list and Quality Bulletins:
o Have some knowledge in reading/reviewing work instructions
o Complete non-conformance tags for part disposition
o Complete Hold tags for assembled goods
· Record and enter Process turn backs for assigned area into database via computer
· Effective communication and escalation to operations and Quality team to eliminate defect recurrence
· Identify possible causes of product/process variation and non-conformance, provide feedback/recommendations to Quality team to address issues.
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Previous Quality experience preferred
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must be at least 18 years of age or older
· Experience with measuring equipment preferred
· Must have 3 year manufacturing experience.
· Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds.*
