Bartender

Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Take and process customer orders accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking
- Upsell and promote drink specials or menu items to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Maintain knowledge of current drink recipes and be able to make recommendations to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a bartender in a catering, restaurant, or banquet setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology and drink recipes
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess the necessary certifications to serve alcohol
