Alabaster Counseling provides outpatient mental health services exclusively to girls and women ages 6 . We believe that true healing occurs in healthy environments. A healthy environment is one that is safe, confidential, and non-judgmental. We specialize in anxiety, depression, grief & loss, relationship issues, and women's mental health.

Role Description

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a full-time Licensed Therapist or Resident in Counseling. Provide in office and remote clinical counseling services to Alabaster Counseling clients

• Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with practice policies and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to ensure holistic client care.
• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health through continuing education and professional development

Qualifications

• Aligns with Alabaster Counseling's mission, vision, and values
• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling or related field
• Active, unrestricted license (LMFT, LCSW or LPC) in Virginia OR Virginia Resident in Counseling
• Available to hold 25 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Alabaster Counseling
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective therapeutic relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to cultural competency and inclusive practices
