Physicians at Wood County Hospital, and its subsidiaries, provide quality care for patients through their extensive medical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. This position will provide services at our Urgent Care center.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses through examination patients and reviewing the medical history of the patient.
• Prescribe medications.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Devote professional and business time, skills, efforts and attention to the conduct of medical practice.
• Make recommendations to employer on staffing, equipment, supply requirements, scheduling, and related practice matters, to allow employer to operate the practice to provide quality services in the most productive and efficient manner.
• Promote and support the interests and welfare of employer in all respects, consistent with physician’s duties as an employee.
• Perform all duties hereunder faithfully to the fullest extent of physician’s ability.
• In conjunction with other employed physicians, provide reasonable coverage for other employed physicians who are absent due to vacation, illness or attendance at continuing education programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO) Required
• Current, unrestricted State of Ohio Medical license
