Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit healthcare network, is hiring a Transplant Nephrologist .
Join our newly established Transplant Surgery Department with Renown Medical Group practicing in the region’s busiest Level II Trauma Center serving a catchment area of over 100,000.
The successful candidate will be a BE / BC Transplant Nephrologist.
Fellowship training in Transplant Nephrology preferred. Must be eligible to meet requirements as UNOS primary physician in kidney and pancreas transplantation.
The Physician will be instrumental to help establish and elevate our new Transplant Surgery Department by working directly under the Division Chief of Transplant Surgery & Surgeon of Kidney Transplant.
Physician must have experience in kidney and living donor procurement and conducting patient consultations in clinic to diagnose kidney disease and focus on transplant-related nephrology services including dialysis ad other treatments.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Transplant Nephrology
Physician will refer and collaborate closely within the Renown Medical Group departments including (not limited to) Urology, Nephrology, peripheral Vascular Surgery, Trauma Surgeons, and Oncologic Surgical teams.
Renown Regional is a state-of-the-art, 750 bed acute care facility with comprehensive and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care.
