Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Claremont, NH for the 2024-2025 school year.

This full-time role involves working in various schools within the district, with hours varying based on the school's schedule.

The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the lives of students by supporting their occupational therapy needs in an educational setting.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Document and report students' progress and responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state regulations.

Qualifications :

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of New Hampshire.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
