Switzer Industries is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales/Estimator
Switzer Industries is looking for a Inside Sales/ Estimator in their St Louis, Missouri location.
Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are not limited to:
- Acknowledge receipt of e-mailed quote requests within 2 business hours.
- Timely completion of quotes (usually 2-3 business days).
- Get prices from approved vendors on unique products needed for a given quote.
- Enter Purchase Orders in ACT and QuickBooks.
- Enter leads and contacts into ACT.
- Reconcile QuickBooks estimates for Purchase Orders received to minimize downstream errors.
- Follow up on all outstanding quotes.
- Train engineers, project managers, and salespeople on products and services.
- Make occasional sales calls.
- Conduct mid-year and annual reviews with assigned representatives.
- Attend tradeshows as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and work experience managing /quoting projects in industrial/commercial and/or construction industries.
- Minimum 2-4 years.
- Travel required, 15%.
- Compensation based on experience starting ($85K – 95K an year)
