Medicaid Specialist: Responsible for completion of Medicaid, Food Stamp and Medicare Savings Program applications for elderly and disabled adults. Prior experience with Medicaid and knowledge of Long-Term Care Medicaid policy preferred. Candidate should be self-directed with strong organizational skills. Position requires detail orientation, accuracy and an ability to understand and interpret Medicaid policy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Candidate must have the ability to work onsite or have a home office with high-speed internet access. Candidate must be able to commute to Grand Rapids MI office to pick up supplies and attend occasional meetings. Knowledge of older adult resources, Medicaid and CHAMPS preferred.
Full - time, 40-hour position with holidays and weekends off. The starting salary range is $38,000 to $41,000 annually with an excellent benefits package.
