We have an opening for a first shift tool maker for our Tucson AZ location. This position is responsible for the rework of parts meeting print and specification requirements.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to read and interpret tooling prints, work instructions, policies and procedures
* Working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles
* Able to solve practical problems with a variety of variables
* Able to calculate figures and amounts * Able to perform entry level machining* Able to maintain records and quality standards
*Able to operate Tool room style machines
*Able to use and read basic inspection tools: calipers micrometers, optical comparator
Requires 3-5 years experience. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desired or have a background working with machinery. Prefer previous hands-on experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and reading blueprints.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred but not required
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
