OB Women and Children Nursing Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for promoting and maintaining quality patient care and the effective management and utilization of resources (staff and supplies) on the above listed patient care unit/area. Supervises professional and ancillary staff. Supervision of staff may include: CC, RN, LPN, NT, US, PCT, HH and others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current West Virginia licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (R.N.). Bachelor s Degree preferred. A minimum of three to four years of current nursing experience that as included various patient populations; previous experience as charge nurse; nurse manager or supervisor. Documented leadership abilities and skills Clinical OB Experience and Management Experience Preferred
We are looking for a nurse who not only has OB nursing experience, but also some management experience, and up for a new challenge to grow an OB program! This nurse needs to be familiar with ACOG guidelines and Levels of Maternal Care as well as AWHONN guidelines for Professional Registered Nurse Staffing for Perinatal Units.
