Jazwares is Hiring a Corporate Travel Manager Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

As the Corporate Travel Manager, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Jazwares success. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to navigate complex travel arrangements will help ensure that our employees have seamless and cost-effective travel experiences. By optimizing travel processes and managing travel vendors, you will play a key role in enabling our employees to focus on what they do best.
What you will do:
  • Coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements for employees attending global events, tradeshows, and meetings including flights, accommodations, and transportation via AMEX Global Business Travel Program.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with AMEX Global Business Travel vendor services.
  • Review and approve all travel requests in a timely manner through the AMEX Global Business Travel portal.
  • Track and report travel expenses against budgets, identifying opportunities to minimize costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee the booking of hotel blocks and communication reservation numbers for all large tradeshows and global events.
  • Stay updated with global travel advisories and ensure compliance with all governmental travel restrictions and health advisories.
  • Handle and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies that arise, providing support and guidance to traveling employees.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of travel data, expenses, and feedback to continuously improve the travel planning process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align travel arrangements with business objectives and employee needs.

What we are looking for:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, tourism, or other related field preferred (or commensurate combination of experience and education)
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate travel management, ideally with a global company with 1000 employees
  • Proven track record of managing travel for large-scale events and tradeshows
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with travel booking and expense management systems, specifically AMEX Global Business Travel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and changing environment.

  • Experience in a global company
  • Multilingual a plus
