• Position: Wine Tasting Room Associate
• Location: 2640 W Sims Way, Port Townsend
• Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Conduct wine tastings, providing detailed information about our wines, vineyard, and winemaking process
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing wines, offering recommendations based on their preferences
• Effectively handle sales transactions, including operating the point-of-sale system and managing inventory
• Educate customers about our wine club memberships and special promotions
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
• Ensure the tasting room is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
• Collaborate with the team to assist during winery events and private functions
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for wine, including varietals, regions, and winemaking processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to engage and connect with customers, providing memorable experiences
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
