Opportunity Overview: Director of Individual Giving
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County seeks an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the new Director of Individual Giving. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and works in partnership with the Director of Institutional Giving and the Director of Donor Services to create an exceptional donor experience.
The Individual Giving team, led by the Director of Individual Giving, focuses on securing philanthropic support from individual donors who are passionate about youth development. The Director of Individual Giving manages several aspects of the Individual Giving program including major gifts, mid-range giving, and engagement. The Director of Individual Giving supports a team of development professionals. Together, they will collaborate to develop innovative strategies for donor engagement, solicitation, and stewardship.
This position works collaboratively and strategically with the President/CEO, CDO, Board of Directors, other development team members, and Club directors.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Internal: Maintain close contact with CEO, CDO, Development Team, and Club Directors. External: Maintain contact as needed with external community groups, board members, partner agencies, stakeholders and others as directed by supervisor.

SALARY: $90,000-$100,000 per year
FLSA: Salary, Exempt

Working Conditions: This position is hybrid which requires working in the office 2-3 days a week and the remainder is working from home. This position works in an office, and the noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
