Overview:

EUROIMMUN US is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to drive the market development and growth of our diagnostic testing portfolio. This role involves creating impactful marketing campaigns, developing product strategies, and launching new products. Responsibilities include conducting market research, managing budgets, and supporting sales teams with expert product knowledge. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with stakeholders and stay current with industry advancements. Representing EUROIMMUN at industry events, the Product Manager will champion a customer-centric approach in all product initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify Market Needs: Conduct thorough market research, including direct interactions with current and potential customers, to identify emerging market needs and trends.

  • Generate Functional Ideas: Drive the generation of ideas for new and existing functionality, particularly focusing on supporting biologics workflows, leveraging insights from market research.

  • Collaborate with global product management: Partner with teams to translate identified market needs into tangible product features and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.

  • Evangelize Products: Act as the internal and external champion for our product offerings, advocating for their value proposition and benefits to both stakeholders within the company and external customers.

  • Cultivate High Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are prioritized throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Create Requirements Documentation: Develop clear and concise requirements documentation for new product ideas and enhancements, facilitating effective communication and alignment across teams.

  • Alignment for Product Market Fit: Present customer data and productpositioning tools to stakeholders, securing approval for productlaunchactivities and initiatives.

  • Hands-On Product Support: Play a hands-on role in the early stages of product launches, engaging directly with select customers to demonstrate the value and functionality of the product.

  • Deliver Presentations: Deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations as needed, effectively communicating product features, benefits, and value propositions.

  • Define and execute Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate cross-functionally to define the go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, key benefits, and target customer profiles, to drive successful product launches and market penetrationfor diagnostictesting portfolio, including automation, autoimmune, and therapeutic drug monitoring.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, USPs, market trends, quantitative justification (NPV), and competitive landscape.

  • Collaborate with scientific, technical, and regulatory teams to define product requirements and ensure timelylaunch of product marketing programs and development of sales tools for market development.

  • Identify and execute on opportunities for product positioning and strategic market fit for targeted customer segments and applications based on TAM/SAM analysis.

  • Work closely with commercial and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, positioning, product content, and messaging for the product portfolio.

  • Drive product launches, including the development of marketing collateral, sales training materials, and promotional campaigns.

  • Monitor performance of demand generation / salesprograms, and make data-driven recommendations for product market fit with competitive analysis and VOC data.

  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders, laboratory professionals, and industry partners to gather insights and drive thought leadership.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in diagnostics testing landscape and automated / traditional diagnostic testing methods for competitive positioning.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality assurance practices.

  • Monitor and manage the product portfolio's financial performance, including revenue, profitability, customer conversion, lead generation, marketing ROI, and budgeting.

Accountability Metrics:

  • Contribute to achieve new customer revenue targets based on life cycle product marketing programs.

  • Development of GTM strategies and sales programs to achieve commercial objectives.

  • Development of demand generation programs for high growth target markets with data driven analysis of specific TAM/SAM for new product introduction.s

  • Manage discretionary spend for product marketing programs to achieve ROI.

  • Deliver against mutually agreed program KPIs for product marketing and demand generation programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and five-years' experience in the life science area including diagnostics and medical device or healthcare.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in the life sciences, diagnostics or healthcare industry.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestic and international(conferences, trainings, and customer site visits).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing concepts, principles and procedures that are effective for the diagnostics and life sciences market.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing diagnostic products or services.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and adjust campaigns as necessary.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices in the diagnostics industry.

  • Familiarity with positioning diagnostic technologies / workflows in terms of clinical, operational, and financial parameters

  • Ability to travel as needed to support product launches, attend conferences and engage with customers.
