****This is a full-time time onsite role. The work hours are from 7 am - 3:30 pm from Monday - Friday. This could led to a full-time role. Looking for candidates with mechanical experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Building and installing low voltage automotive and instrumentation wiring harnesses, auxiliary battery and electrical
systems
•Installing, adjusting and calibrating sensors, shunts, fiber optics, accelerometers and data acquisition systems
•Collaborating with customers, fabricators, and mechanics to identify required locations for sensor installation
according to Instrumentation Requirement List (IRL)
•Assisting in performing complete functional inspection and prove-out of instrumentation according to Instrumentation
Quality Assurance (IQA)
•Diagnosing faulty low voltage automotive and instrumentation wiring systems and repair
•Working with electronic functional and measurement tools, such as power supplies, function generators, and
multimeter
•Maintaining records by entering notes into service repair requests
•Keeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing
preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
•Participating in daily shop organization and clean-up
Education and Experience (required):
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Valid driver's license
•Able to follow procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects, such as work
•requests, shop procedures and shop manuals, publications or schematic diagrams
•Good organizational skills and works well independently and as part of a team
•Good communication and time management skills
•Able to work overtime and weekends
•Good attention to detail
Education and Experience (preferred):
•Certificate in Automotive Technology or related
•2 years of mechanical experience
•Knowledge of proper installation of thermocouples
•National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s)
•State Mechanic Certification(s)
