Job Summary:

The Footwear Lead is responsible for the replenishment and shop ability of the Footwear department. They ensure the efficient operation of the department and provide exceptional customer service by making sure the section is properly signed, sized and well maintained.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the Footwear department is properly organized, sized and visually appealing by following merchandising and display standards.
• Ensure Department is clean, recovered and well maintained as the code W policy states. 
• Follow our lettered program as directed.
• Ensuring when new product arrives it is stocked and presented to merchandising standards within 24 hours.
• Train, mentor, and coach associates in the footwear department on product knowledge, merchandising, and customer interaction skills.
• Maintain the footwear department's inventory, including stock replenishment, organization, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the store management team to execute sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and special events to drive traffic and increase sales in the footwear department.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service, sales, safety, and security within the footwear department.
• Complete any other tasks the Store Manager assigns. 

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous footwear experience in a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Knowledge of footwear trends, brands, styles and presentation standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility to work in a high paced retail environment.
• High school diploma , GED or equivalent work experience. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended hours.
• Frequently lift items over 20 pounds
• Background check required
