Fab Eye Care is looking for an experienced office administrator to handle the day to day operations of the practice with Optical experience. You will be responsible for knowing each position in the office and training at each position, but mainly involved in front desk management and optical. The Office Manager must have the ability to work independently, learn detailed procedures, identify problems, and develop corrective strategies that they can implement at the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent customer service and patient care in accordance with company standards
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care services
- Assist with patient pre-testing, including taking vital signs and conducting visual field tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize optical systems such as Epic to manage patient information and appointments
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in Optometry/opthalmology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with laboratory procedures for eyewear adjustments and repairs
