Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of audiovisual systems for various projects. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer audiovisual systems based on client requirements
- Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and control panels
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support and guidance
- Manage and maintain inventory of audiovisual equipment and supplies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audiovisual technology
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge to assemble, install, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment
- Software troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Experience in telecommunication or field service is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles (E&I) is a plus
- Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts
- Proficiency in cabling techniques for audiovisual installations
- Understanding of electrical systems and low voltage wiring
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
